CCMS League Registration Details

Calgary Christian Mixed Slo-Pitch (CCMS) is a great summer activity that can be played by people of all skill levels.
Whether you are a small group, close friends or an outreach ministry to friends and co-workers CCMS offers a great opportunity for developing relationships.
CCMS mission is to provide Christians the opportunity to use Slo-Pitch as a means to build community and friendships between fellow believers and as a form of outreach to friends and co-workers.
The CCMS strives to:
- Glorify God in all that we do.
- Bring together believers to reach Calgary and beyond in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Connect non-believers with Jesus Christ and the Church.
- Provide a quality Slo-Pitch Experience.
CCMS has two options for participation; you can register as a Team or Individual.
Our main goal is to facilitate team registrations, but we have also introduced the concept of a spare board.
Team Registration is open to all Christian churches and ministries who agree with our Statement of Faith and who are willing to abide by the official CCMS administrative and playing rules. Each team needs to have two (2) people that will be the official representatives of your team to the league and all league meetings.
The 2010 registration fee is $1000. All registrations have to be completed online and fees must be received by March 31st, fees must be mailed or delivered on or before March 31st. Don't leave your registration to the last day as we are limited as to how many teams we can accommodate.
The Spare board allows individuals to submit their contact information (Email Address, Playing position and Notes) to a password protected section of our website. Team Administrators can view your playing information and send you an email if they need to fill out their roster. Please note the CCMS has no way of guaranteeing individual players will be placed on a team. The more information you can provide may increase your chances of being contacted by team representatives from our league. The Spare Board has no registration deadline but chances for placement are best before April 20th.
The CCMS 2010 Season features:
- 16 game season between May and July . (4 game seeding round with a 12 game regular season) 1 game or double header each week played on a M, T, W or Th.
- City Diamonds used at locations throughout the city.
- June Tournament that is open to all CCMS teams only at no extra cost.
- Year-end playoffs for qualifying teams.
- Clucker Classic Charity tournament at a cost of approximately $275.00 per Team.
