About Us
Established in 1975 the Calgary Christian Mixed Slo-pitch League is an inter-denominational, non-profit league that has been serving the Church and Christian Ministry community in Calgary, Alberta Canada for over 35 years.
Our Mission
To provide Christians an opportunity to use slo-pitch as a means to build community and friendships between fellow believers and as a form of outreach to friends and co-workers.
To fulfill this mission the CCMS strives to:
- Glorify God in all that we do.
- Bring together believers to reach Calgary and beyond for Christ.
- Connect non-believers with Christ and the Church.
- Provide a quality Slo-pitch experience.

Our League
Team registrations are accepted on a first come first serve basis.
- Each team is required to have made their church or ministry aware of their existence and they need to agree with our Statement of Faith.
- Teams need 2 representatives whose role is to attend league meetings and provide communication between the executive and the team members.
- Here is an outline of a typical season:
- Registration fees are $1000/team. $900 if registered prior to March 15. Registration cut off is March 31.
- We play a 16 game regular season schedule with games occurring once (occasionally twice a week) a week between M-Th. There are no set nights, although teams can indicate a night they prefer not to play which the league will attempt to honour.
- League games are played throughout the city of Calgary on "C" & " D " level diamonds.
- Our tournaments are played on 'A' level fenced diamonds such as Shouldice, Optimist Park or Jaycee Park.
- Our league is an adult co-ed league. Each team is required to field 7 men and 3 women.
- Our league has multiple levels of divisions to try and accommodate various levels of skill.
- Our "Classic" tournament takes place in early June and is a open to CCMS league teams only and is included in the initial registration fee.
- All teams in each division make the playoffs and are seeded according to their regular season standings.
- Our August Clucker Classic Tournament is open to any team interested in participating with an associated entry fee. We have made this our Charity tournament in support of HOPEthiopia.
